Do you like your hair long or short? I've been growing mine long just for the hell of it and surprisingly, I look better. Also, I haven't shaved and I look better with sideburns and a goatee. I was originally inspired (Heh) by John Carmack and Trent Reznor to grow it longer than usual and it's paid off.

I go to a barber school every two-three weeks and get my haircut for $4.

two schools owned by Atlas Barber School in Greenwich Village and one barber school in Chelsea \

I cut my hair with electric clippers and a 6mm (1/4in) guard.
And I like to keep my face and sideburns clean shaven, though I'm a big lazy so this doesn't always happen.
I have this horrid thick, dark, curly hair. It makes such an awful mess if it grows to any length. I have the choice to either cut it really short, or waste gallons of gel per week flattening it. I think it looks better short.

I've got a friend who's 5'0" and she's got 3' of hair. Honey Blonde hair down to her (very nice) butt.

I like mine in the middle... not to short where I can't do anything w/ it, and not too long where it starts to look like a mullet or something similar.

On guys I prefer short hair. It's VERY rare to me that a guy actually looks good with long hair. Long hair makes me think of FABIO and i am a no fabio type girl.
I've also had my hair cut at those so-called "schools" and although they are cheap they take forever to cut your hair. Even for guys it would take the students 3 hours to cut their hair. For most of the girls it was more like 4 hours. I dunno about you but I would pay a little extra to get it done in 15 minutes heh.

Mine has not been shaved since I got out of the Marine Corps, I decided to let it grow long again and just haven't stopped. It's about 3/4 down my back now.
I've had hair past my shoulders for 4 years and I love it. It looks really good.
Unfortunately, I'm going to lose it all when I join the army next year.:frown:

I prefer short hair, its just more functional in the water and exercising. But I have never had long hair, so the journey begins.
