It's true, my stepfather is currently forced to give half of his pension (50% of his previous salary per year) for being in the military for 24 years to his ex wife. He will have to do that for the rest of his life. Also keep in mind that the kids were already long gone after this took place. He was in the Navy on submarines and ended his career as an O6 captain of the USS Columbus (Attack Submarine). If I recall correctly, his wife was a half assed farm girl while he commanded what I believe is the single most powerful reason other countries feel threatened to attack us. I really do appreciate the submarine force.

It is totally messed up. She is entitled to money which he has not even gotten yet.

All the idiots on the GamePro are saying, "that's awesome" but it's sad. It's sad the wife did that. If I caught the lover, I'd beat his ass. People like that are slime. Absolute filth. Justify with bull shit "instinct" you can control yourself and refraining from behaving like an animal.

Actually most people in RL experiencing this know to just walk away. It's not like she was your property, she just found someone better for her. To me that is fine. It's different if she tried to financially screw me or cause me physical harm directly.

Sex is needed to be happy...those that say otherwise are masturbating a lot and still not happy.

divorce is not cheap, neither are the psychological problems associated with divorce.
sex is a wonderful thing but it doesnt make you anymore happier than that scrub dog outside having his day.

Dude I have been through what you have described. You walk away. The cost is your own fault for picking her.

I don't have any psychological problems with that. She was good until she wasn't.

I think you need to find some more sex if you think that is so important in decisions. Sex is great, I have it alot. However, ANYONE can do that so it's not important except to the person not getting it that thinks it is.

Military life is hell on families. I bet many people don't think of it before going in or don't realize how bad it can be. For me, leaving my family would be far worse than going to some sh*t country for a year, knowing that they're missing me and vice versa and also that they may end up at my funeral. I am sure it is MUCH easier for single guys to go away.

It has GOT to be hell for a parent to watch their kid go to war knowing that even if he comes back in one piece, he'll never be the same after that.

Since when does playing video games constitute cheating? I mean, there's no proof they didn't cheat, too, but this hardly proves that they did.

The article clearly states that the woman admitted to an "innocent kiss"....if she admitted that much, she's probably done much, much more...

I've lost all hope in the human race. How f--king selfish and shortsighted can you be?
