Unbelievable shit going on here. I'm seeing my beloved country getting destroyed.

We're starting to see large scale vigilante groups guarding their towns! wtf!!

I live in one of the most well off places in the UK. There were a bunch of emo twats trying to start something here.

Anger got the better of me and I confronted one of them. I said what are you doing here, and he said 'protesting the cuts'; you could see he was just a student and had no answers. I was like you could have protested last week, last month, why now, piss off home, he evaded my questions.

Worryingly, there were a number of youngsters with hoodies and BMX's lurking in the background.

There were 5 police officers there. And then a bunch of security guys turned up and stood there.

This happened outside where I live. I live in the middle of a town centre, on top of a shopping centre! Not only that, it's being redeveloped. There's no security doors, just workmans hoarding. Bascially bits of wood. One kick and they get access to the building. 1-2 petrol bombs and we could die.

I can't believe what's happening in this country. I'm devastated.

I'm sorry mate. Do you have anywhere else to go, or has it simply not flared up enough to come to that? You don't want to be living above a such a juicy and flammable target if something does happen.

The police should be out there protecting you, sending back the violent horde. If they fail to do it then it comes down to you and other fellow citizens to start 'vigilante groups' to bring the law to them. Fight fire with fire or do your best to step aside and relocate.

This is probably one of the best posts ever made on this forum.

The British Empire was the most bloodthirsty organization to ever exist in the universe. Has any other organization killed as many innocent people? Of course not.

For some reason Europeans constantly think that the genocide of a non-European population isn't genocide and, in fact, they keep saying that it was 'beneficial' to those poor 'savages.' Yeah, that's why when you guys were booted out, they're doing so much better.

European pro-genocide attitudes are just disgusting.

Unfortunately, there are too many of those types of people on this forum.

Anyways, back on topic, does anyone know if the liberator youth are anywhere near places such as Buckingham Palace?

Not yet, but you can bet that they will be targeted if they are accessible, just like when inbred Charles and Camilla were attacked by protesters a few months ago. Imagine the Queen being dragged out of her car by protesters, stripped of her of her jewels, and then dumped in the gutter.

Yes, you do, it's called justice. Being "poor" doesn't give you the right to go destroying other peoples shit.

It isn't any kind of "war", but If hiding their criminality behind the guise of "social change" helps you rationalize it than have at it, it's still a bunch of criminals using is as an excuse to rob and steal. Anyone that thinks rioting is going to effect any change is naive, burning your own neighborhood to the ground is not productive.

It's a bunch of fucking Chavs.

Who are you, you prick?

Seriously go fuck yourself.

Why isn't the ban hammer coming down on this guy?

Who are you, an America? We have americans living in this block too you know

I'm not calling for the direct hurting of innocents, but I am all for the people to rise up like this to topple down the government. We were all fine with it in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, etc., but why isn't it OK now? This is a good thing, the UK government needs significant reform. It's pretty barbaric and needs to change its government to a Republic among other things.

I am all for the actions of people to rise up if they're fed up with tyranny.

Yes, the universe. I'm pretty sure that no alien race would be as violent as the British ever were.

I have to admit that I'm very happy for the British people. Who would have thought that the peasants would rise up and demand their rights? Truly amazing. Sometimes I wish that people in the US would do the same, but I guess there's not the same amount of governmental injustice perpetrated by the government against its citizens in the US. But even if there were, Americans would be too fat to rise up like this.

Go British liberators! It's time to throw down the shackles of peasantdom! Set up a guillotine in front of the Inbred Palace!

I suspect a lot of it is racial. The UK is viewed by many as a stronghold for a future white-only "utopia." Any revolution such as those in similar third-world countries like Egypt or Tunisia threatens that vision.

Is that a picture of a British person? British people are pretty ugly considering that they're almost all disgustingly pale with droopy features and filthy teeth, definitely looks like a limey.

I should ban you right now to relieve this thread of the excessive trolling. See PM. If you continue to troll, your ability to post may be curtailed for a couple days. -Admin DrPizza

"London rioters point to poverty and prejudice"
http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/08/09/britain-riot-contrast-idUSL6E7J91RM20110809

"They call it looting and criminality. It's not that. There's a real hatred against the system," he added, listing what he saw as the police prejudice, discrimination and lack of opportunity that led him and his friends to loot shops, torch bins and hurl missiles at police on Monday."

Seems like a legitimate popular uprising to me, similar to Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, etc.

London riots: China raises questions over safety of 2012 Olympic Games

Looks like many are now questioning whether it's appropriate for such a country to host the Olympics next year. Are athletes and spectators really going to be safe in a third-world war zone? Mogadishu is probably a better spot now.

For the love of god moron, grow the fuck up! Christ, England isn't a war zone, the English aren't barbaric monsters raping children and destroying the planet with monarch related suppression.

Just leave us alone, and we in turn will leave you alone. You've never been here, you've no idea what you are talking about. Same goes for RabidMoron.

I'm not white, I'm Sikh and racism in 1970's west London was bad. It's subtle now but still exists.

England today is so, so much better. I'm proud to be British and I would do what I can to protect it. I'm not sure what I can do though..

CanOWorms, you've never been to the UK have you?

No, he right...

Mogadishu would be a better spot because by this time next year everyone in Somalia will have starved to death...
