I look forward to the day when celebrity gossip (gay or straight) no longer qualifies as news.

Being that Stephen was able to marry someone 30 years younger, I wonder if it will inspire Gandalf to finally settle down?

Doubtful.

If his best buddy Patrick Stewart marrying somebody 40 years younger bride didn't convince Ian McKellen to find somebody with tight abs to leave his money to, I don't know what will.

Which is fine. I mean, I'm unlucky in love, why shouldn't Sir Ian and I have something in common? :p

If you're going to be rich and gay, you might as well do what rich and straight guys do.

I don't mean to step on any toes. All due respect. But, who is who in this marriage? I only ask because any married person will tell you that a wedding is for/by/of the woman. The guy/groom is just an accessory. In the pics posted here all I see is a father and son. Also, I read an analysis last year where it stated that man-man marriages were the most unstable whereas lesbians were the most stable. Heterosexuals were in the middle. Given the age discrepancy this must be amplified. So, what is the purpose? All due respect.
