Ah, I love trying to sell monster cables. It is a great challenge. In all truth, they are probably built worse than a standard HDMI cable.


Of course customers who just got their 60" Plasma and PS3 want the absolute best, lol.

How many sales do they gain though by placing them at the registers? Customer impulse spending probably moves a lot of volume on the cards.

no.. i pay mostly for the Netflix Streaming via XBox Live.

My GF has a 4-year-old and is mezmerized by the Thomas and Friends videos. Netflix has like 8 available for streaming.. so it keeps him occupied for hours.

I also watch movies in HD via the streaming.

my GF just bought Dragon Age: Origins and wanted to download the DLC (got 1 free with purchase of DAO) .. so it was two-fold.

It makes sense if you use Netflix Streaming.. which i do... and it was $39.95/12 months..

$3.50/month to watch unlimited Netflix movies in HD on my HDTV, makes plenty of sense to me.

It's times like this I'm glad I have a PS3 instead of a 360.
