I'm picturing a whiny little console douche jumping up and down crying because the BB employee didn't know where to find his Gold card. And it was there all along anyway. Thread delivers.

all the while thinking "im gonna post on atot about how much more superior i am than this guy and make a huge deal out of it"

OP needs to get a blog

Give the guy a break he's getting paid something like 8 bucks an hour, his manager is a high school dropout dumbass, and he's probably knee-deep in debt from the riced out Civic he has sitting in the parking lot. He's just standing in a shop watching the hours tick by until he can smoke his next bowl (that is, the four hours until he gets a 15 minute break to go to his riced out Civic in the parking lot to smoke a bowl).

I go to the Games department.. look around.. can't find a gold card. i see where they SHOULD be... but the slot is empty.

Figured there might be more in the back, i ask one of the employees if they have any XBox Live Gold cards around or in the back.

The sales person then asks me "do you mean xbox elite?"

at which point you should have taken him over to the tag and said 'this'

It makes sense if you use Netflix Streaming.. which i do... and it was $39.95/12 months..

$3.50/month to watch unlimited Netflix movies in HD on my HDTV, makes plenty of sense to me.

So you pay Netflix AND Microsoft to stream movies? Doesn't sound like such a great deal

That's also the way I pictured the OP when I read this. LOL.

I bought a monitor at best buy recently, used it for a week and decided it was too small. They took it back without receipt and gave me a great deal on a biger monitor. I am extremely happy with my shopping experience. I have to admit the staff on the floor was not very good but I got what I wanted at an exceptional price.
