My husband translates the tattoo as "amis" - friends, in French.

(He had to re-explain to me that a cursive "m" in English has three points... and he's not even a native English speaker. D'oh.)
 
I saw a younger woman with a wrist tattoo the other day. Her bracelet was blocking the bottom half of the script. First, second, and third glance, it looked like the word 'balls'.

She moved her arm and the bracelet moved further down her wrist, unblocking the text. The real word: 'bella'.
