Damn that looks stupid! I'm utterly surprised on how lazy some people can be! Hell, I remember when Segway was launched and how the promotional video showed people using Segways inside their frigging home!. "Yes sir, I'm too lazy to walk from one room to another, I must use this rollermobile"

I'd punch that punk in the face and take it! Then I'd sell it on the black market and make a fortune!

🙂

why don't you just go rob a bank or something??

He needs a ricer spoiler to go along with his aerodynamic head. He does look somewhat silly on that - I think I'd be embarassed to be riding that around in public by myself (especially while sober).

I too would feel embarassed, even if I had lots of income to toss around.

Jealous of his wedgie?

I don't think I would buy a Segway.

might be fun to play /w it though
Retarded looking for sure... I can't see this becoming mainstream, no matter how cheap it becomes.

man, one of these days someone is going to pull out a gun and segway-jack a person. imagine trying to make a getaway from 5-0 cruising down the street at whats the tops again, 15mph? id love to see air coverage of this, it'd make an entertaining piece.

::...he's going...LEFT! and the police have lost him, but the eye in the sky here will keep the camera on him for as long as we can...::

Didn't they do that in a South Park episode once? I remember Kyle and Cartman trying to escape in Kyle's electric toy car with the cops after them.. hehe.. 🙂

Segways are worthless. Maybe in certain areas (like NY or Boston) where a car isn't a necessity to get everywhere like it is here - it would be a good idea there but it's too useless to travel far distances, too useless to travel short distances.

Come back when you know what you're talking about.

You ever lived in TX? No? Once you do come back and tell me what a GREAT idea and just how useful a Segway would be.

I was sitting with my friend on campus (UF) and we saw some kid ride by on one of those. It really doesn't look that cool. We both came to the conclusion that he was a loser, loser with money though most likely.

I'm at UF too and some friends said they saw him too! I want to pass him on my bike soo bad

I am always annoyed with blanket statements like this....how do you know he is rich?? did you follow him home break in and check out his portfolio if he even has one? or are you assuming he is rich because he bought something that is rather expensive yet somewhat not necessary?

It is even better when people comment on somone for their expenditures and then they themselves spend at least as much if not more on other hobbies of theirs.

Just because someone has something nice does not mean they are necessarly "rich", they might just prioritize differently than you....instead of having a nice car, house, home theater, computer system, or go out every night, take crazy and frequent vacations, drink heavily, smoke cartons of cigaretts... they might save money and buy something else.

Heck, I have a few nice things which people might "assume" I am rich if they saw that I had them, but I worked my butt off for them and I didn't go out and buy new video cards every other month, or a big expensive home theater, or wheels for my car or whatever....everyone has their own individual hobbies and interests and IMHO those should be respected just as you would like others to respect your hobbies and interests.

Sure this guy may be rich, but then again people might say the same about you if they saw the massive computer system or whatever you may have, or they might say it about me or anyone else that has a hobby that is rather costly....when in reality we might be the furthest thing from "rich"

Sorry, just annoyed because I see this kind of attitude alot here and it is really annoying to me.
