Suppose the dark = evil light = good is at the core of the problem and not necessarily racism although I'm sure it plays it's part if the child is routinely exposed to racism/segregated environments.


Why not show a picture of black cube vs. white cube.

which cube is teh good cube?

Which cube would you take home to mom?

Which cube would steal?


Why ask kids which one is the good looking one when they are all identical??

my little sister "white", would always name her dolls and cats "Keisha, Latoya, etc..."

We thought it was hilarious, but she cried when we laughed at her. She thought those names were beautiful, but it's pretty cool if you think about it because kids don't think with the same filters adults do
 
That black girl that wants to be white, has yet to realize when she gets older she'll be an attractive black female and proud of her skin color. Unless she doesn't go to school. and becomes a hood rat with 7 different baby daddies first.

I know growing up I wanted to be white more than I wanted to be black. It sucks dating a white girl and then having her parents tell you that she didn't want her daughter dating a black guy, even though I just look like a severely tanned Cuban guy. C'est la vie
 
I'm pretty sure when I was a kid I would have said the black ones were bad because they were the ones that used to woop my ass and made fun of my chinky eyes.

This is an interesting approach... but based on the intelligence of that white boy and the black girl on the left that was preaching that skin color doesn't matter... this was most likely taken at an suburban school in a town with well educated parents. Nothing wrong with that. But I'd imagine children in different environments would have different views.

I also find it interesting its a color gradient starting with the whitest on the left side (first). It's not mixed or random. Very biased "study."
