Yet people EVERY DAY spend thousands of dollars on new computers and trust all of it with cheap PSU's that come included with cases or are in the $25 and under club at newegg because they say 650 watts on them. People see the PSU as not connected to performance in any way unless they research or are taught the hard way.

A 200 watt crappy PSU marked as a 580w. Nice. Way to go Sunbeam!

i work at microcenter and feel so bad when i see people buy no-name brand PSUs.

One more for the PSU to Avoid list. Thanks for the laugh.

Reminds me a little bit of my old CodeGen PSU that came with my case. Worked find for my Athlon XP, until I added an ATI X850Pro AGP card. Listening to the HDs spin down when I went into a 3d game wasn't pleasant.
