I'm at level 43 now... aye. What IS the purpose of this game? What is the highest level you can acheive? Also, how many acts are there?

At the Progress Quest Companion there's a download that puts it in your system tray. I haven't tried it, but it's there.

Check out the Hall of Fame at www.progressquest.com. The top guy there now is level 68, Act XXV. As far as I can tell, it's completely open-ended. There is no limit on levels/acts. I haven't read anything that says so explicitly, but then again I haven't read otherwise either.

I'm now a Level 34 Inner Mason Will o' the Wisp. I always LMAO at the items...

"Austere Arrow of Worry"

"Lucky Laurel of Cruelty"

and the spells:

"Tumor (Benign)"
"Tumor (Malignant)"
"Angioplasty"
"Astral Miasma"

etc... whoever came up with this game had quite an imagination... and a good thesaurus!

i've got two computers running this now, the work computer and the home one, level 45 or 46 at home, 37 at work. the home guy would whip the work guy. demicanadian battle-felons are no way as good as double-hobbit shiv-knights.
