So weird that they do as well. But I think the cat was more intent on getting out then wreaking vengeance.

It may depend on the cat and situation. For instance my maine my excellent compatriot cat doesnt like to be given a bath. But she gladly walks into the shower to lick the side wall while the water drips down and she gets completely and absolutely drenched.

That's different though. I don't think cats like being submerged or even just surrounded by water like in the bath tub.
