Looks like what most fans thought would be inevitable has finally happened. Noel Gallagher has left Oasis following an altercation with his brother Liam Gallagher backstage where Liam smashed Noel's guitar today at Paris's Rock En Seine according to eyewitnesses. This was one minute before Oasis were set to take the stage. The band then proceeded to cancel their second festival appearance in a row.

Noel Gallagher then issued a statement through Oasis' website:

"It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.

"Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan."

That sounds like a break up to those of us at The Scenestar! Lucky for those us in Los Angeles that caught their Staples Center show when Oasis toured the U.S. The future is now in doubt for Oasis but you never know what the future will bring. Coachella reunion maybe? For now we'll wait to see if Liam patches things up with Noel and we'll see an Oasis reunion.

Note: I don't give a fuck about Oasis but find a band breaking up 1 minute before showtime funny and horrible.

Biggest pussies in the music business.
That includes Britney, so that really says something about them.

I shall cry psilocybiny tears for my loss, even though there are few places I'd rather be than there.

And GOD I wish they had video of the guitar smashing. That would've been epic. Probably better than the show they were about to play, actually.

English translation please?
Are they notorious cat lovers?
Are their cats going to kill me in my sleep since I slandered them?
Or just living up to your username yet again?

Everytime I hear of Oasis I think of the British Parliament SNL skit. I wish I could find a clip of that skit

Every time I hear Oasis, I think of AT&T. Unsurprisingly, All Around the World is one of my favorite songs. lol

shamelessly flaunted songs? lol. that song goes hand-in-hand with AT&T. you play it, people think about phones. i'd bet a paycheck that if you survey 100 people, 90% of them will recognize AT&T, and maybe 5% of them will know Oasis.

in my case, i'd never listened to anything Oasis until after i cared to look up the source behind "the AT&T tune"

5% of ppl know oasis? In the demographs that were shown the commercial, a much much larger percentage know of Oasis.

It'd be like watching one of your childhood cartoons dubbed with different voices... That's not the case but the idea is the same it's a crippled version to you. Consider how long the commercial is relative to the song and how it was rushed and cropped inbetween to make it work

The fvck, how old are these people? Obviously very young or old or not from the West, undoubtedly. They were undoubtedly one of the substantially famous bands in the mid 90's.
