Not to troll but I wanted to just LOL at how my ATI cards have earned me over 3K in the last few months of BTC mining. I mean, I know ATI may not have the best crossfire (microstutter) experience but damned if these cards haven't earned me a bunch of $$$.

Real question, how many Nvidiots regret not purchasing an 7X radeon card in the last year?

Now with LTC becoming an alternative digital currency I don't even need to worry about selling off my excess Radeon cards. I guess I'm lucky but I feel NVidia missed the boat on this entirely.

What a shame.

If you're so bored as to troll our forums, you need to find another activity to occupy your time. I suggest video games.

-Thanks

It is real easy to share your positive experience with Radeons and bitcoin mining without putting other people down because they have different hardware than you. Just saying.

I bought my 670s to play games, which they do quite well. Not to sit in a machine trying to harvest a non-tangible currency that may or may not be worth anything tomorrow.

They were both purchased in the early summer when AMD was still way behind.

No regret at all.

apart from 2 days of testing a long time ago, I haven't touched bitcoin and I'm almost only using AMD cards for a few years.

you do have to realize that not everyone is interested in bitcoin mining, some people just buy their VGAs for something else.

LOL I love that guy from the wire. I mean, I have purchased many NVidia cards in the past, I just feel bad for all the nvidiots who bought 670/680 cards over the last year who must be saying the same thing considering the Radeon's have essentially paid for themselves.

Shame, shame.

I would so love to meet you. LOL.

Probably the same amount of brain cells you have.

LOL so angry, I would be to if all I had was a 670 or 680 right now.

I guess you play 24/7/365, must be nice not having a job or family to support.

hmm, suspect.

AMD has never been been behind, NVidia has never been a good choice for SHA256 but I get your reason from a gamer's perspective. Too bad they got away from their GP in GPU like the 5X series were good for.

Anyway, even if you're a gamer you do not game 24/7/365 so you could have paid back your cards by now if you went AMD. I know this is hard for Nvidiots to swallow but I must state the obvious.

At $140.00 per BTC now you gotta be a little pissed at the missed opportunity you could have had with going 7950/70 this round. Sorry but I someone needs to state the truth here.

Too bad for you, should have stuck with it, would have paid for your cards at least.

There are ways of having a quality conversation when the subject matter is controversial. Your OP was not one of them.

lol@trolloing. I guess you can classify this as trolling but someone needs to speak the truth around this forum once in a while.

$3,000 with no effort at all, yet still mad as hell

RED fires of rage burn profoundly deep in this one ^_^
That's just about where I am now too. That's a nice chunk of change for no effort. If you knew about bitcoin, there's really no logical reason to have bought an nvidia card since 2011 unless you need cuda (which 99%+ of the people here don't). But you'll still see them struggle to find one. I'm actually enjoying the posters fighting back the tears declaring it doesn't mean anything to them.

That's the point of this thread. NVidia lost a huge opportunity with digital currency such as BTC or LTC. You can call AMD lucky or whatever but the fact remains that all of my computing equipment over the last year and a half has more than paid for itself.

Now that ASIC's are taking over this won't matter for much longer but AFAIK AMD got F*cking lucky by being able to decode 256 SHAW cryptograms in hardware at such a high level. It's just funny how this worked out is all.

The other side of the coin is people buy PCs and video cards to play games because they don't need money but seek entertainment.

Yes that is the ultimate reason to buy a videocard, I agree entirely however now imagine you could earn back all of the money you sank into your new system while just mining when you are sleeping...

Hmmmm. Enticing. Tell me more.:colbert:

Seriously though, you are doing the exact opposite of "Not to troll", are we in agreement on that?
You are either selling, or really love upset and turmoil and are here to start those very things by mocking fellow members here.
But, you knew that......
