LOL Meth Addicts Before and After

Heh, from Portland. Not surprising, pretty big meth problem up there.

Sad.

Does the meth itself cause the sores on peoples faces, or what?

What a horrible drug.

i'd like to get a map that shows meth use as a percentage of population. REAL useful information when you're shopping for real estate.

it's not as simple as all rural towns have a meth problem.

one thing i'm curious about meth users is, is it theoretically possible for a meth user to have good dental hygiene ?

meth users always seem to lose their teeth. i've read that it's a combination of drinking lots of soda and grinding their teeth and not taking care of their teeth & gums & possibly the meth use dries up their saliva.

but, what if a meth user did not drink the soda, and wore a guard for the teeth grinding, and flossed & brushed, and chewed Xyliton gum for the saliva problem. in addition to good nutrition.

or is there something about the meth that is inherently destructive to teeth & gum tissue.

Wow that's crazy. Got to admit, some were ugly before anyway. But still makes a huge difference. 😱

If I try it for a few weeks, wonder if it will make me look my age without destroying me. I'm sick of people thinking I'm a co-op student. :sneaky:

That meth must be some good stuff if people would quickly destroy their bodies and their lives, for the meth high.

I know better than to use meth or any other addicting drug. I know I am not immune to it effects and I would quickly be no different than the junkies that you see in these pictures.

Do people that do drugs think that they are bulletproof and that they will not become addicted and fail at life, just like the millions of users before them?

These people must really think that they have an anti-meth addict gene and they won't secumb to the effects of meth like everyone else.

I really do not understand how someone can justify to themself the first hit of a dangerously addicting drug.

Am I the only one that sees a resemblance?

29 --> 30 is the only one i laughed at.

29->30 was the really the only LOL I got.

*clicks on 29*
"Wait...this is the before? Well if it *is* the before.... *click* BAHAHAHAHAH"

Though I have to say more were "WOWs" than LOLs.

I don't see how this is funny at all. People's lives being destroyed is funny?

The douchebag is strong in this thread

Being destroyed by what exactly? Oh yes, they chose to destroy their own lives. Their lives aren't "being" destroyed by anything but their own poor decisions. Sympathy status : denied. I'm not better than anyone and I'm not saying I'll never fall back on something I shouldn't (I haven't yet, knock on wood), but at least I'll be able to admit it's MY fuckup when the time comes.

Do you laugh when people die of AIDS or reckless driving? Or how about good old fashioned suicide? Lung cancer is another thigh-slapper, right?

Not to say empathy is an important human trait or anything; I just value consistency more.

3 -> 4 was a big IMPROVEMENT.
she should stay on it.

I wouldn't say it's a big improvement, but it could be argued that she improved in some regards.

I've seen this lineup in a different form, with all of the pics in a collage, and #3 circled in red with a "Got hotter" comment. It was funnier to me that way. The blurriness of that pic (and the small size) also made her look hotter in the "after" picture than she does in this lineup.

Someone probably posted it on this forum, in fact.

The humor here is that these fools paid to destroy their lives. They actively sought out drugs, paid for them, and used them. Their situation is no ones fault but their own. Everyone knows this.

OK, that is pretty much what I was going to post. Although, it is not sad as some people said, and it is not funny. It is what it is, and boils down to personal decision. I know a side effect of "civilization" is the decline of personal responsibility. Try to imagine there was a time when you were held accountable for your decisions, without an external source (government in this day) to rely and/or blame them on.

It's from them picking at their face. A lot of times they hallucinate that there's bugs crawling under their skin and they pick at their skin to get them

In some cases, yes, but mostly, meth sucks your body dry of just about every nutrient needed for healing, so if and when you get a scar or a bruise (not uncommon given the lifestyle), they just don't heal.
