Fell asleep in bed..had it in pocket.

Problem is the damn warranty. When I had bought it there was an issue with shipping and nvever got it (warranty box ) + the dock.

They did give me a refund for thos but I never went and bought a warranty.


Basically:

1) it is still under normal warranty. If they replace it will they give me one with a 90 day warranty?

2) can I appy a new store-bought warranty to the replacement?

you should be able to apply a store bought warranty to the replacement, when i still had my rio i got it replaced/rma through the factory, and my 2 year aftermarket warranty was still valid on the new one

It's not even released for 3 months yet. For sure you don't need any verification to get it replaced by apple.
