So I did a craigslist posting. I posted up something for free and wrote it creatively.

Apparently the guy was looking for a couch (I didn't post a couch), but him and his wife thought my writing was so good that he was offering me a job. Sounds like a bit of a scam, but I thought it was hilarious and awesome anyway. Apparently the guy works in marketing or something and was wondering if I wanted to do some writing for him.

How cool am I?

You should read stuff written by university students majoring in art. In a class like history or sociology, students are told to write papers with a minimum length. Not a minimum amount of content, but minimum length. The result is that you get 5 pages of content expanded to fill 10 pages. It's some of the most convoluted bullshit writing you will ever see.

lol I think the guy was full of shit because he's like, "work an extra 5-10 hours a week." "Well, ok, if you ever want to make an extra 25-30k on the side, let me know."

why don't you get an on-campus job, paid research assistant posiiton under a professor, or even work at a restaurant part-time instead of posting Casual Encounter ads on craigslist lazy ass?
