It's a program called Pop Up Killer, and it's a "special offer" that I can't refuse.

Only $19.95 for a program that probably just edits the IE options and turns off 1 flag somewhere.

I thought popupkiller was free? I've had it installed and running perfectly for months and haven't had to pay for it.

<< While I recognize the irony in that ad, if you actually want a pop-up killer, come get some >>

*yoink*...

NIS does a good job of blocking ADS, but not popups.

<< Testing it out and so far this analogx program works best :D >>

It's a useful little program. So far, it has killed 405 pop-ups for me.

"Ye, though I walk through the valley of the killer pop-ups,
I shall fear no evil, for I have a pop-up killer!"

OK, ok, that was lame...

Getting a little carried away? :p

Hmmm ... my comp did something funky this morning. I turned it on, and it (the first screen) told me some thing about checksum being screwed. I went to setup and made sure my settings were right. Then I noticed that in HD setup everything was reset... so I re-detected which went fine. And rebooted. Then noticed that it said Athlon 667MHz! :Q :| I go back and go to cpu setup and it says "Reserved", so I change it back to 133/133, and my cpu says 1333 again when I reboot. Up in winbloze and no problems here. but I don't get why that happened? ARgh... unexplained, random bullsh*t like that pisses me off. :(

Well, one of my buddies sent me a link, and it turned out to be one of those pr0n sites that makes pop-ups to the point where you need to reboot. So, I added it to my list of blocked sites, and POW killed it off pretty fast. Then I went down the hall to where he was an smacked him around.

BTW, if you want, I think there is a way for me to send you my data file with which addresses to block. It should cut down the on the number of pop-ups you have to add.

I like webwasher, it blocks ads, popups, cookies, whatever your feeling up for :).
