damn, this site is super slow ... Took about 3 minutes to load the site with all text and pictures .. :p

It would've been super funny if stranger drove off with 350Z :)

It would be even funnier if owner's gf got in the car as stranger drove off.:D
Since she probably thinks that he is a boob.

it looks like the issue is not getting out of the parking spot, but that his car is stuck underneath the bumper of the truck and he doesn' t want to fvck his car up by moving.

What a friggin idiot. Takes the guy an hour to get out of a spot I could have parked a hummer in. That space was HUGE.

I didn't read the whole thread but did the guy even thought of using the E-brake instead of the clutch to avoid rolling?

I remember being stressed out the first time I was in this situation driving a stick (I was self-taught, and so I had no background in how to deal with it). That said, it took me all of 10 seconds to figure it out, and you wouldn't think a person would buy a 350Z with no experience in driving stick. That half hour debacle probably took 40,000 miles off his clutch.

I could fit my truck in there and have some room to walk in front and behind it. I would probably have difficulties pulling out a stick shift out of a spot like that on a hill since I don't know how to drive stick shift, but c'mon an hour.. That's pathetic.

wtf??? you need a hill thats at least 4 times steeper to use e brake to get rid of rolling. For a place that flat, there should be no problem backing that thing outt. My driveway is steeper than that and i back into it routinely

(my car is 5 speed ...awd turbo :) )

It looked a little like the 350 was caught with the rear wheels at the curb. Couldn't be just a simple case of the driver afraid of the car rolling forward. The handbrake would have taken care of that.
