lol, how is a show like hell's kitchen on the air?

It's because they don't make shitty dishes made with shitty fritolays or shitty skim milk, or any other shitty stuff you can make shit with.
 
Gordon Ramsey is a jerk. Not in a cute, fun way, but a jerk. Unfortunately his shows are entertaining, and tempting to watch, which is the viewer giving him money.

I wasn't sure how much was a persona, but hearing about ral-life cheating, about how when he worked at a restaurant and thought another guy was going to be given his position, he stole the restaurant's reservation book and tried to frame the other guy, that kind of jerk.

I wasn't a big fan of him bringing baby pigs for his young kids to help raise and then eat, either, the kids crying about it. I do like some things he does, though.
 
It's a guilty pleasure for the religious folk who can watch something they believe is dirty while feeling ok about it because it's just a cooking show and it's all bleeped out.

Show is complete shit. The first season was interesting, now it's just a bunch of jerkoffs who could not cut it at TGIFs acting like Jersey Shore.

Master Chef is way better because the contestants are actually interesting and the other two judges are awesome. Ramsey was great once but now he's watered him self too thin with all these shows.
 
That dude just annoys me, I've never been able to watch that show because of Gordon. He is such a tool, I'd love to see him get his ass beat by a contestant when he goes off on them.

There was a contestant that got in his face and said, "Make your move bitch."

3 big security guys immediately came to protect him. They're always present just an angle away.
 
Yup, this show was good for about 2 seasons and then it was just a contest to see who could be the biggest asshole, with the foulest mouth and try to out-Ramsey, Ramsey. To top it all off, it is so scripted it's sick.
It's as much a reality show as Modern Family is a reality show.

His show seems so scripted. also they never kick the trouble maker who sucks at cooking. They will kick off someone who deserves to be there instead.

Oh and its always 1-1 tie..then results after the commercial!

not to mention he has lied about the winners jobs, there are reports of shenanigans going on with the ovens, equipment and food to make people look bad.


As for him bringing the kids pigs to raise and eat so fucking what? it happens all over.
 
Ramsey just hates seeing people fuck up food. I don't think he's a jerk at all, just intolerant.

But yeah a lot of those cooking shows are ridiculously staged. I enjoy watching Masterchef, for example (winner of season 2 was a stupid choice), but it's easy to tell how set up that show is.
