Beats talking to someone overseas who you can't understand!

Doesn't it make you feel bad that you cannot converse with anyone that is not a native English speaker? I mean, imagine, if God forbid, you ever had to travel abroad to a country where English is a second language!!! That must be like Hell for you :Q Something must be done to prevent people like you from suffering thus :| I vote that they ban foreign countries. BAN! BAN! BAN!

Oh, BTW, STFU - can you understand that? :sneer;

How about you STFU? It is not really all that odd for an english speaking person who buys a product in a box labeled only in english in a country that the native language is english expect the support be delivered in english. :roll:

Nope, I've never called them and I'm not about to start either. If it comes to that, I'll be using Linux.

Exactly. The support is being delivered in English. You just lack the ability to understand a foreign accent. Even Americans don't always share the same accent. Different parts of the same country use different accents and yet somehow you manage to survive :roll: Nobody's forcing you to buy MS products - if they aren't pampering you enough by providing support in your accent of preference, don't give them your business. What can MS do if the American accent comes at a premium - they know you won't pay that premium. So it's all really your fault!

I do it all the time.

Then it sounds ike they treat me like a theif.

Then I ponder why they would be so cruel, to me, the softest, snuggliest, teddy bear manchild in the world.

I ponder it some more.

Windows fcks up.

Said process is repeated:D

So far I haven't had to call MS to reactivate my copy....what's odd about this is I have swapped motherboard & CPU 3 times, hard drives 3 times, and just wiped and done clean installs around 4 times. Which probably isn't much compared to some of you, but I figured I would have had to call them by now. Anyone know what the "official" limit on installs, changes, etc before they make you call? I was able to get my copy of win xp & office through a friend who works for MS who paid a grand total of $90 bucks for both at the MS employee store. Almost has me wondering if the copies they sell there are different from standard retail copies.
