The automated sysem is just silly with that little bell after each group. I felt like I was on a game show in the 70's. :laugh:

Yep, at least half a dozen times now. Probably more. I switch hardware ALOT, they must think I'm some kind of scammer. But they ought to know that my licenses are legit, they gave them to me as a gift for beta testing the OS.

Doesn't it make you feel bad that you cannot converse with anyone that is not a native English speaker? I mean, imagine, if God forbid, you ever had to travel abroad to a country where English is a second language!!! That must be like Hell for you :Q Something must be done to prevent people like you from suffering thus :| I vote that they ban foreign countries. BAN! BAN! BAN!

Oh, BTW, STFU - can you understand that? :sneer;

I stand corrected, there are centers in the UK and India, but there IS one in reno.

We do most of our work in Redmond. Over the years we've consolidated a lot of our infrastructure and our activities around the world. We also have a team in India, so those are the two hubs. We have an operations center in Dublin, in Singapore and Reno [Nevada], so those centers have some small IT staff, not very large.

Describe your hiring process.

Yes,

After all the automated system was sent to a live person with an Indian accent, while she is doing her thing I hear her turn around and start talking to someone in another language, like she had put her hand over the phone. After much giggling and me sitting there staring at a windows screen she finally comes back on the line to give me the code.

Exactly. Next time I will record over the speakerphone. The keys don't echo DTMF so no security concerns. :)

No thanks. XP SP1 won't even install with that one. ;)

I'm waiting for MS to start putting "WGA messages" in programs and services on pirated XP copies. I guess there's a lot of VLK abuse going on these days.
