No, don't do any worst to the pic. I think what you've done is funny, no need to regurgitate the same thing just because everybody else has done it

What kind of an idiot thinks a goat is a cow, especially when the site she hotlinked to even states that it's a goat? Must have had a deprived childhood - didn't even get one of those toys (See and Say?) where you pull the string and it says, "The cow says moo. MOOOooooo" "The Goat says baa. Baaahaaaaa"

Should I have done worse to the picture?
her site
(added bonus: some of you might think she's cute.)

Personally, I would have changed the goat to goatse, but that's just me.

cows are often shown as being white with black patches, or black with white patches. People just assume well it must be a smaller version of such.

You know what really gets me? Most people don't know what a cow is. They think there are male cows.

Does that get your goat?

As a young child, I thought a horse was a male and a cow was a female of the same species. 😱

It is now acceptable and common usage to use "cow" to refer to cattle of either gender. This is what my cousin says, who is a cattle veterinarian for the USDA, but what does he know...

Who determines what is "acceptable"? That is not acceptable usage, as it's the wrong definition.

Just because a bunch of idiots who don't know their animals call them by the wrong name does NOT make it correct usage. It just makes a bunch of people incorrect.

And if it was acceptable usage, your cousin would be a cow veterinarian, not a cattle veterinarian.

I left her a comment 😉

So did I, a little educational comment about the hazzards of taking pics from someones website. When we changed the pic kept it nice because she was a young girl. It just didn't seem right to do it any other way. Mrs. Pizza.

how did you manage to trace who was linking your picture like that?

Our Web/FTP stats showed that someone had linked to our site.

Putting a swatsticka(not sure if my spelling is right) flag up is a sure way to get them to stop hot linking from you. Otherwise ******, goatse or lemonparty

DrPizza is representing his farm business, not ATOT.
He cannot replace the picture with crazy or disgusting images like the cat or goatse.

I live in the middle of farm country... I've slowly been shedding the image of "citiot." (city + idiot, as the farmers refer to city people.) I've learned to correctly refer to them as cow, heifer, steer, bull, etc. And, yeah, they'd refer to me as a citiot if I referred to a steer or a bull as a "cow." The only place it might be common is in the city... the rest of the people who work with the animals day in and out would call you a citiot behind your back.
