Must have had a deprived childhood - didn't even get one of those toys (See and Say?) where you pull the string and it says, "The cow says moo. MOOOooooo" "The Goat says baa. Baaahaaaaa"

Did they constrain the size of the stolen image?
Yes: Do as OP. Have fun.
No: Create a 10000x1 pixel transparent image and replace the stolen image. It will take them forever to figure out what is breaking their layout.

I have a ~800-byte JPEG header for just those purposes. 20000x20000px.
