It's crazy here in NYC. It's like a post-war apocalypse, with people clamoring for gas. Every gas station in my area is sold out. NYPD presence at every station. For those stations that do have gas, the lines stretch for 3 city blocks, only to find out there is a $20 limit.
It's surreal. I have enough fuel to get to work and back tomorrow, so I am not worried. Subway near me is also in service, so that is an option for next week, but it's insane here in NY. I guess this is what it felt like during the gas crisis in the 70s.
Insanity.

Motorists in New York and New Jersey exchanged words – and reportedly even shoves and punches – as they faced a second day of stressful, sometimes miles-long lines Thursday at the gas stations that still had both electricity and supplies after superstorm Sandy.
