I think he was pretty bad in Exit Wounds also. He had no emotion, just a hard blank stare for the whole movie.

DMX was playing a dotcom entrepreneur posing as a hardened criminal. His sole focus was exposing bad cops that framed his little brother . . . holed up in county. It's not like he got any T or A in the movie or spent time at the ballgame. Most of his time was spent negotiating drug deals. Was he suppose to cry when his brother said he didn't know how much longer he could endure jail? He smirked in the exotic car dealership . . . that's what makes him smooth . . . dropping 300K on a Diablo and sticking it to pricks that make assumptions . . . just another day in the LIFE.

Romeo Must Die was ok, alliyah(sp) ruined the whole d*mn movie though.
WHAT! She was the best thing about the movie . . . OK her acting sux but damn she was fine. Close spelling it's Aaliyah.

If it were crap it would not be the largest selling and fastest growing genre in the US right now.
Just a passing fad... as they all are. Anyway, whenever someone mentions "rap" music these days its the mainstream stuff. And yes that is crap. Read the lyrics for the top ten over at Ohhla and what do you see. More crap. Who the hell cares about lil wayne's "bling bling awww twenties on them thangs man, ya'll people just don't undastan" or snoop's "fo sheezie geezie girl? I mess you up like anythang in da world" ? If anyone calls that quality lyrics then you need your head checked up. Go listen to some real stuff like 2Pac, Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5, etc.

[insert color/race here] boys acting black in the neighborhood I live in? Check.
[insert color/race here] talking/acting/walking/thinking "gangsta" but still get their money from their parents? Check.
[insert color/race here] thinking its cool to pretend to be from the ghetto? Check.

Do I let them do their thing? Yes, and I really don't have much against them 'cept I wish they realize that its just a waste of time.

Have you ever seen Belly? He actually was damn good for his first screen appearance. Nas on the other hand....my god he's awful.

Anyways, I've never seen Exit Wounds or anything, and his appearance in RMD was lackluster...

The main stream stuff is what all these people who spout crap about rap are talking about, and its the stuff I never listen to. Most people have never heard of Talib Kweli, Cormega, 80 Dimes, 50 Cent, AZ, Cee-Lo, Ininity, Nappy Roots, Twista, E-40, Factor and all the other artists who talk about real life, alot of their work is their own poetry. Almost everything you see on MTV is complete crap that is meant to make money and nothing else. If anyone wants to hear some of the 'real' stuff feel free to grab it of my ftp, I have ALOT of it.
