Every day after work I take my dog to this beach park. It's about 100 yards wide and a 1/4 mile long with the ocean on one side and 4-5 resort condo complexes on the other with a mix of residents and tourists. It's the biggest damn lawn you ever saw... My dog loves it. Runs all over saying hi to everyone...
The last couple of days when I've taken my dog there, there have been these two older guys, complete with lawn chairs, 24 pack of Budweiser, a guitar, two dogs and binoculars. Yes, binoculars. These guys will sit there, chug a beer and scan the windows of the condos looking for who knows what. OR if there is someone interesting in the parking lot or coming off the beach... Yeah... they are dialed in and focused.
It's not like these guys are hiding behind the bushes trying not to get caught. Nooo... Nothing subtle about these guys. They plant themselves right in the middle of the park, binoculars plastered to their faces as they fumble their way into the cooler and crack open another can of Bud, one handed. (Can't put down the specs)
I can't help but crack up every time I walk past. It almost looks like a joke. Two old guys with binoculars, lawn chairs and beer, out in front of God and everyone scanning the horizon for random booty. :laugh:

Perspective shot from the parking lot. You can't tell in this pic but the dude on the left is intently tracking a family of girls as they walk off to the beach on the left. He has his arm propped up on the guitar and is staring through the binculars.
Other than that, not much binocular action today. If I get a better picture opportunity I'll be sure to update.
