lol, Chuck Liddell

They only keep him fighting because he draws crowds.

Hes always fun to watch because he either knocks someone out or gets knocked out. Nowadays its almost always the latter though.

Ahh crap, I knew I should have avoided the forums tonight. Was just about to watch UFC97. 🙂

Oh well.

He's not in the greatest shape, but he wasn't doing too badly in that fight until he let that punch through.

Chuck was winning on points until that sucker punch, I don't know what you were seeing.

I agree.. It seemed like Chuck was holding his own just fine - even running the show.. Any fighter can get dropped by missing a single punch.. Didn't Silva recently get his ass kicked? I mean.. I saw him get knocked flat out a month or two ago..

Wanderlai Silva is way past his prime as well

Chuck's old. I don't see how you could find such glee in seeing a fighter lose his mojo due to father time. He was a beast in his heyday, now he's just hanging around cashing a paycheck. It's sad actually.

He looked less crisp with his counters and slow as hell. I agree he still has some good aspects of his fighting, but he's past his prime. I think it's a great start for Shogun 'cause I think he's got good potential. This might give him the confidence he needs to open up a bit.

This is the Shogun everyone was waiting for when he came over from Pride, hopefully he builds on this.... I wouldn't mind a rematch with Forrest Griffin.

Chuck looked to be the same fighter that lost 3 of his last 4 fights.

GSP needs to fight Anderson Silva. The main event was hilariously bad, I had a good time as it was so funny seeing Leites flopping around with arm(s) casually behind his head.
