I put the timeline for him to file bankruptcy at 4 years.
Yea, if not less, the legal fee's will mount up plus he's used to living an extravagant lifestyle, LOL at the "business is booming!" tweet from a few days ago, now he'll have to fight for a penny from the Patriots.

Saw something earlier that AB will be the first player in NFL history to have jerseys from 3 different teams on the clearance racks for the same year... 😎
Even more amazing is he will count against the salary cap for 3 teams this year, Steelers, Raiders, and Patriots all must eat cap space for this idiot.

Someone pointed out that Brown was still playing last week while Kaepernick still doesn’t have a job or even any workouts—I guess it seemed like their punishment priorities were out of whack.

I still don’t know how Gardner Minshew is a starter and Kaep is nowhere.

Because
1. This thread isnt about him.

2. He was a flash in the pan. He had two good seasons, followed by four lousy ones. 15 wins in three years. He was benched, then brought back and lead his team to 1-10 record. Meh.

Kaep is nowhere because Kaep sucked. He was briefly effective, then defenses learned how to play him and he couldn't lead a peewee football offense. This is one of the great smoke and mirror shows ever put on. Kaep has managed to convince some incredibly stupid people that he can't get a job because he's a rebel. Kaep can't get a job because Kaep is not an NFL quarterback. He could kneel through the anthem and then pull out an uzi and shoot the damn flag and he'd be a starter somewhere if he was good enough to be one. In the NFL character doesn't count, that is proven week after week. All that matters is performance and Kaep doesn't perform on Sundays.

Nah, he was a better QB than majority of the backups in the league since he was 'retired'

Really? Over his last two seasons Kaep was 3-16 with a QBR around 40. I challenge you to find a quarterback on any NFL roster with a worse record than that over his last 19 starts.

The backups on NFL rosters are probably not quality starters, but most are unknowns. They might suck, but maybe one or two will be good. Remember Brady wasn't a starter until Brees got hurt. An unknown is better than a guy that has had plenty of chances and has proven he sucks.

Tyrod Taylor was bad and yet made quite a bit of money, and if you want to use something like win/loss i guess Eli Manning (who is 8-25 in his last 3 seasons) ,Blaine Gabberth, Blake Bortles, any qb that played for shitty teams. Kaepernick rarely threw INT's , even his last year he was 16-4 td/int

Here you go.....

That's 13 starters that where worse than him his last year, and i was just talking about backups....

Point is, kap really wasn't that good and you're trying to compare him against the worse to prove he should be playing. Lol.

That isn't even mentioning the huge distraction and media circus.

This has to be a troll. It's not a great one.

Minshew was fantastic for WSU last season and he's been great for the Jags so far this year. He should have been a third round pick.

Brees plays for the Saints, Brady has played for the Patriots excursively, it was Drew Bledsoe who got injured that got Brady on the field.

Remember last week when people were saying how smart Brown was to orchestrate his release from the Raiders and get signed by the Patriots?
It wasn't me. I had to wonder WTF was going on. The guy was a clown all during preseason, headlines, stories, one dust up after another. He gave up 29 million dollars when he ditched the Raiders. Signed for 15 million with the Pats a day or two later. Maybe he knew stories were going to come out about his sexual indiscretions, don't know. Smart? Whoa... Evidently, the Pats' contract with him allowed them to opt out clean and quick...

I was pissed when the 49ers got rid of Alex Smith for Kaepernick. Then excited as he looked good. After the third season the defenses started to figure him out and lost seemed to lose all accuracy. It was often embarrassing to watch.
As for his kneeling, I didn't care. This is a free country and I respect his rights. I may not agree though and that's OK too.

Agreed. They abandoned Smith too easily. I thought they should have drafted Aaron Rodgers instead, actually. Not doing that was their first mistake. The franchise has made double digits mistakes ever since, well, George Seifert retired, I guess.

Brown now says he won't play in the NFL anymore. Took shots at Kraft and Big Ben. He also tweeted a photo of his accuser??

This guy is a serious head case.

Yeah, my bad. Too many dang guys named Drew B. in the NFL. But you knew who and what I meant. The guys on the bench for most teams might not be good, but it's proven that Kaep isn't good. Better to have an unknown with at least a potential upside than a retread with a history of bad play and no upside.

Interestingly, several of the 2nd stringers played very well today..

Difference is Kraft was paying for sex, not sneaking up on someone and forcing it on them. If Brown had any REAL friends they would tell him he needs help, possibly counseling, a shrink, or both.

If he has any brains at all (evidently not a lot) or any real friends (again probably not) he'd be well advised to take what money he has to a trustworthy financial adviser. Otherwise, he's going to flounder. I mean, what kind of career could possibly await him if he indeed never plays pro football again?
