mor importantly ... how much of a whiny little bi+ch was ashley simpson... when will she figure out that she has no talent and is only riding on her sister's fame...

And wtf is her sister riding on? Talent? lol 😛

I'm not a fan of Jessica Simpson but I have heard her and I will just say that she is a very talented young lady who just happens to reside in an incredibley well put together package......even if she was shorted a few brain cells. She is good looking and talented so no reason to rag on her even if you don't like her music.
 Thx for saying what I wanted to say to UC...

Not only ugly people have talent.

When Lorne Michaels was asked if lip syncing was prevelent, he said no. Oh brother! What about Eminem just yesterday?

most rappers in rap albums record the thing line by line. as in, they rap one line, stop, another line, then edit it all together. also, im pretty sure he can hold his own when it comes to batteling

give the guy a break
:disgust:

most singers of all sorts do this. actually, you can edit down to individual syllables with the greatest of ease.

what eminem was doing was different though. he wasn't lip-syncing, he was rapping along to a recording. so you hear him plus the recording, which makes it sound like there's 2 or more of him, so he sounds "bigger" and slightly less like the whiny little bitch he is. this is common practice not just for rap artists but pop artists in general.

That's what I suspected they were talking about, and yeah, that's not lip syncing. It's just a backing track. It's not like they try and pretend like it's them -- a lot of the time they flat out skip lines when interacting with the audience, and the recorded vocal track is still there.

"duh"

Either that, or like someone in the linked thread mentioned, he might've been doing it to make fun of ashlee simpson. Makes sense to me.

No sh!t!? But can you honestly tell me that Jessica Simpson got to where she is because of her incredible musical talent? Like I was saying in this thread, there is a lot more to musical talent imo than just simply being able to sing.

That said there are plenty of hot girls in my art classes that are quite talented, and alot of them are pot smokin' hippies to boot! 😀

Ashlee Simpson is fvcking ugly, can't sing or dance and only got were she is cause of her sister. I thought that video was funny.

Here's the clip.

I don't think it's worth the download, though. The segment is on Lorne Michaels, the creator and executive producer of SNL. 60 minutes just happened to be there the night that Ashlee Simpson made herself famous. And FWIW, I think that Lorne Michaels is full of sh!t when he says he had no idea she was going to lipsync.

Doesn't take a genius to know this is lip syncing. WTF does anybody want to make excuses for this assclown?

i saw the segment and i don't think anything simpson did was bad. her voice/throat were messed up and she barely made it through rehearsal and was even crying backstage. her only choice was to cancel or boost her voice. i don't think it was a big deal.

If there's any guy that deserves a break, its definately Eminem...because that guy is just fvcking break city when it comes to other people. He's just handing out breaks to everyone he meets. Because he's a motherfvcking part time rapper, and a full time break giving machine. Genetically designed from the ground up by scientists to allocate breaks to those who require them!

Eminem, is a fantastic human being and we should all strive to adhere to his high moral code.
