pop-a-lock

I used to work for them, I could open your car in less then 8 seconds.
92 Buick Century=piece of cake

you need a sturdy hanger or metal rod and bend it to lok like this

With the bottom being about 1.5-2 inches long and the hook part about 3/4 an inch wide

put it in the passenger side rear door, between the rubber and the window.
You will feel a springy rod in there, hook the springy rod and twist the tool you made, slide the tool and the rod toward the rear of the car. Have a friend look through the window on the other side and tell you when the lock button moves- it will take you a few min, but you can do it.

Oooo I'll try that...but the picture is confusing me. So it should look like a long fishing hook?

I tried to open my car like that when I locked my keys in the car. Unfortanetly my locks aren't the popup kind so that didn't work. So if a theif ever wanted to break into my car he'd probably just break the window or cut the top. :(

How can you open a door with one of those beef sticks the Macho Man eats, wouldn't it just bend up? :D

well, when i lock my keys in the car, i normally open it by pulling on the window. you can probably do the same thing also if the top part of the driver/passenger side window isnt enclosed to the door by metal framing. honda's have a rubber framing at the top so that you can get a flathead screwdriver to pry the top part of the window enough to stick your hand in. after that pull the window open with your hand and stick something inside to pop the lock. you can pull the window out pretty far without it breaking.

When I was in college, I locked my keys in my car... which was a '77 Cadillac Seville. I called the university police. They came out... tried for 15 minutes with their SlimJim, and couldn't open the door. I called the city police. They came out... tried for 10 minutes with their SlimJim, and couldn't open the door. I finally paid a locksmith $25 to open the door. He had a special tool, angled just for that model Cadillac, and he opened it in under 30 seconds.

Depends on the car, which tool, and who's using it.

Most local "po-pos" no longer provide lock-out service. (Not in big cities, anyway. They don't generally have the time to do this anymore.)

Try to pry the top of the glass out of the window frame about 1/4 inch, just enough to maneuver a coat hanger, and use an object such as a screw driver to hold the window in that position. Then use the stiffest wire hanger you can find to poke the power lock button.

if you decide to break the glass, DO NOT BREAK THE SMALL GLASS Right by the Rear passenger door.
those are more expensive to replace than the bigger ones.
