Have any of you seen it where you try and login to a domain and it logs in but then hangs on Applying Computer Settings before the desktop loads?
I am trying to figure out how to get it to not hang on Applying Computer Settings. The problem is on Dell D630's, it hangs on this applying network connections. I have tried resyncing the laptop with the domain time controller to sync up the time, as this has been an issue in the past with these, but that did not seem to fix it.
I have dropped the laptop out of the domain, did an ipconfig /flushdns and then readd to the domain and still the same problem. It seems to be a DNS issue that it is not resolving to the correct one as it goes. The only items in Event Viewer are that W32tm is doing something, but I already tried to do something for this with no luck. It says userenv with an error but it just says cannot connect to domain. Netlogon have a few errors, but those seem to be normal.
Also, I saw somewhere that disabling or reenabling the wireless adapter would try and change things, so I tried that, but to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Thanks.
