logo on dnet question

Tripleshot,

That is setup by each individual. If you wanted to change it, you'd go in to "Edit your Information". I'm still using the disputed one myself. Until we here from the creator, I see no reason to change it.

Edit: I just checked yours and it's showing the old logo, not the disputed one. Did you just change it?

Russ, NCNE

No, I didn't change it.What is going on here?
edit.......................................
Russ,I have the disputed globe logo.I will keep it as it matches my shirt.

Tripleshot,

I wonder if the page is cached on your hard drive? Have you tried flushing the cache and then heading back to the page and checking it?

Russ, NCNE

Yeah, I checked it both with the & and without. You definitely have the old logo in place.

Russ, NCNE

Russ,I just cleared my HDD cache.I see it changed now as others see it. Thanks
(I thought Anand pulled it a week ago,I was right)

Would some one mind explaining what this "disputed logo" thing is all about?? Confusion is setting in heh.

How do you get the logos in the stat page? (probably a stupid question)

ahhhh. I got it. I know VERY little HTML. 🙂 Is it ok to use your example? I don't want to casue any bandwidth issues with the host 😉

Tripleshot,

Okay, now I understand my confusion. I just checked the properties on yours, and you have it linked directly to the team keyserver, which would change for everybody at once if they were linking there. That didn't even occur to me, because I have mine linked off of my own site since I'm using an iframe.

Russ, NCNE

Tripleshot, same thing happened to me. Today I uploaded the new logos (from Paulson's site) to my webspace, and then used that as the source for my images. I'm not relying on anybody elses anymore.

🙂
