Logo Design: Does anyone here do it?

Are there any professional logo designers here? I'm trying to get a new logo (and then a new website) designed for my company. The logo is more important, but the website can come later. Our budget isn't too big, but we could probably afford a few hundred dollars for the right person (I know this isn't a lot of money for a good logo designer, but times are tough right now and we're just trying to get something good).

Is anyone interested in tackling the project? If so, please let me know. Thanks!
 
If you don't find anyone there is the logo loft and logo works. I've used them both once. I didn't end up going with anything from logoworks and had a very tough time deciding on one from the logo loft.

If you go with one of them try to give them good direction. I left it pretty open and didn't care for most of the results, but their portfolios both had some that I really liked. They're both around $300-400 for a package with a few revisions. Both have money-back guarantees.
 
I'll bite. What's the deadline looking like because I'm also doing a portfolio site for a friend of mine. I do such work on the side with my profession (creative advertising). You can see my portfolio if you think I can tackle it.
 
you must want a really nice logo, most people are like 5.00 paypsl to the logo design winner and have like 10 people trying lol
 
Can't you or your coworkers just ask some friends for a nice logo design? I'd probably do it if I got like $10. I could sketch something out and someone else could design it in photoshop or something (not that hard once the idea is there).
