I think people are just tired of these threads, and the seemingly inevitable trolling that is associated with most of them. :p

Man, where is CasioTech when you need him?

And you wonder why the Graphics profession is not considered a real professsional occupation by some.
Logo work takes time and effort by real artists, not some photoshop jockey at home.

Hope you all realize that real logo work costs much more than a piddly $60 bucks. This is the thinking that I always run into
with my freelance clients. They think coming up with a logo is like snap and it'll cost less than $100.

I don't think people take us graphic artists seriously.

I am looking for someone to do a logo for me. The logo is for a futon store. I am willing to pay 30 bucks in paypal to the best logo.

Here, maybe I can help. I'm an artistic genius, and this is your new logo:

Logo

No need to pay me, just spread the word.

Here. I think I fit Tyler's description pretty well .. if you need a different size, color, etc. let me know.

EDIT: It would be nice if we had more to work with.

Shouldn't you do your logo in Illustrator or another vector-based program? (i.e. no resolution)

ahahahahahah, i wasnt gonna post anything, but that just pushed me over....

Little lesson in graphical design:

if you make anythign that will be printed and resized a lot (just about anythign) you make it VECTOR.
Yeah like vectors from your algebra class, you can translate, resize and shape them without losing detail...

Short explanation..if you make it in photoshop, it aint a logo.

This one is the best in my opinion.

It makes me want to buy a futon.

SOMEONE's lazy.

:p

As long as you keep the same "feel", you can make any size you want.

Although i do see what you're saying. :)

I believe you can do vector shapes in PS7.

sorta...not really though. You can make berzier paths and thats about it, you dont have actual vector object a la illustrator/freehand. You can make paths and fill them (make bitmaps out of em). Theres no direct vector handling.
