LogMeIn Ignition

Has any used this? How well does it work? The information I've read makes it seem as though it would work great for me, but I want to hear your experiences.

Will I be able to use LogMeIn Ignition to connect to my home computer and then connect to my work network applications which require Java?

Haven't played with Ignition too much, but we migrated from a Cisco hardware-based VPN to LogMeIn Hamachi at work early last year and I've been extremely happy with the system. It's super easy (I can do remote setups over the phone now instead of having to visit people's homes to setup the VPN client), pretty fast, and very reliable. It's also inexpensive and supports a ton of users. HTH FWIW 🙂

Any particular reason to pick Ignition? I currently use the Jumitech suite (free version) and it works VERY well so far. I have also been curious about the Ignition as I already use Logmein as well.

I didn't see any viable free options and had heard of LogMeIn Ignition in passing. I decided to cough up the $30 and am quite happy I did. The app does everything I need it to do.

I used it a lot, I use to put Logmein on all my clients computers. I loved it, I'd be out and about and get a call with them needing a small change made to their system. Not having to drive to their office, or even go home and get on my PC was wonderful. It worked great for me, and there were days I spent 2 hours on it. Used it for many months, then I sold my iPhone.

Ignition is great, especially on iPad. I use it just about every day for work and home use.
