Ya, it's a bit pricey, but I'd like to have this set. I liked the backlit keys on the Saitek board, but there was nothing else special about it, just a no frills keyboard with backlighting. However, this Logitech board looks mightily nice. The mouse looks awesome as well, but I can't imagine paying that much for it.

Once the package (assuming there is one) gets to around $110 or $120, I'll pick this up (again assuming good reviews).

That keyboard is awesome. A good bank of keys right next to the left hand, and lighted keys! I love playing games in the dark basement, cold and dark... mmmm... must have this keyboard.

And mice suck. Trackballs forever!

I checked the saitek keyboard out, and it looks like the actual keys don't light up, just the areas behind the keys. If so, bunk!

The G keys are kinda cool. I don't see the point about an illuminated keyboard because I never look at the keyboard in the first place -- especially when playing games. Same goes for that LCD. I already know how much ammo I have, because it's right in front of me -- on my HUD.

My MX518 is quite nice, the only thing that keeps me away from the new mice is the lack of the second thumb button. I use both. :( The back button for in-game voice and the forward button for Ventrilo.

EDIT: The keyboard is def. overkill. Why would you take your attention away from the screen to look at the LCD?

the keyboard lcd could be used for more I think. perhaps animations from winamp for example.

I dont think the gimmick warrants the price. Id rather get a Saitek. And I dont think anyone needs a $100 mouse unless they win it at some lan tournament. The performance difference is marginal but the price definitely isn't.

I'm pretty happy with my MX1000 and Saitek keyboard..maybe I'll have to build another gaming system. :D

I'll need to replace my dual optical soon, so this looks pretty nice. I like the idea of the weight cartridges because I've always found most mouses too light (but the dual optical is perfect) and wireless ones too heavy.

I want a glow-in-the-dark keyboard! Heck with all of the programmable keys and LCD display...it's blue and it GLOWS! Yay for premoddedness and prettiness! (Spoken like a true female)

i wanna wait and see how functional that lcd is before getting the keyboard.

outside of that i think the saitek would be fine... but if that lcd could be at all functional in WoW... i'm already drooling thinking about it.

i use both as well. stickin with my 510 for now, but adjustable weight is an interesting feature. and yes, the keyboard is overkill. i'm not a fan of extra screens and lights, so distracting.

400 Miles (roundtrip) / 30 mpg = 13.333 gallons of gas x $3/gal = $40 trip just to check to see if they have an $80 keyboard :Q :Q :Q :Q

CALL FIRST! ;)

I don't like either of the mice. What happened to the back and forward buttons on the same side? I don't even see a forward! I like the MX1000 more than either one of those ugly things, and I'll go as far as to say I would even prefer the MX510 gaming mouse or the MX700 wireless mouse.
