hi everyone,
i was planning of upgrading me sound system. i wanted to know which of the following speakers would give me the best sound.
Logitech Z640 or Creative T5400 or Creative Inspire 6600.

i'm going to combine it with Audigy2 ZS or Audigy LS.

i would also be very happy if you could suggest me any other sound card or speakers. my budget is bout $150.

i have a very varied choice of music i hear western classical, pop, rap n rock. which would be the best combination for me??

Don't know about the Creative sets you have listed, but I had a Creative 2.1 set and they were better for music than my Z-640s, but the Logitechs are better for gaming.

z640s? I'm pretty sure I had those before and they were horrible. luckily I was able to upgrade to the 560s. Remember, more speakers don't mean better sound. Go for something that is, atleast, THX certified.

THX for PC speakers doesn't always mean better sound either..

BTW I also have the Z560 and I'm not complaining 😉

I've been using the Z640s for months now and I like them. You certainly can't beat the bang for the buck. My only complaint is that the center channel seems a little weak sometimes, but it may just be my hearing!

I have listened to both the Z640's and the Creative Inspire 6600's and I would say get the Creative speakers. They are much louder, have deeper bass, and make you feel the music. I liked the Logitech's, but they seemed a little weak teamed up with my Audigy 2, but the Creative speakers are a great buy for the money and I definitely reccomend them!

thankx everybody

so this is what i'm thinking of buying

Creative Inspire 6.1 6600 :$76.64 at buy

and

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS :$89 at newegg.

if you have any other suggestion, please reply.
