Logitech Z560's, dust covers on or off?

Just curious how you folks run your z560s. I was reading a review the other day and the guy said his sounded better with the covers off. Sounded odd (pun intended 🙂). Anyone tried them either way to see if they sound better? I'm not much of an audiophile, mine have the covers on and sounds like the world is coming to an end in some games, so I'm happy. I'm almost 100% certain I couldn't tell the difference, I don't really feel like taking them off, too much trouble to get to (would have to stand up).

i don't have a pair of z560's, but i've participated in similar debates over all sorts of speakers

basically, don't lose sleep over it. people running $10K speakers *might* be able to notice super high frequency attenuation with covers on versus off, but for computer speakers you're best off just leaving as is.
