Logitech Z560 Deal at Microcenter

For those of you that live near a Micro Center BnM store, they are having a special right now with 20% off all speakers systems. Their logitech Z560s are normallu $199.99 but with the discount they are about $160. The best price I could find online including shipping was $164. So for a little bit more in taxes you can pick them up from a local store and have absolutely no problems returning them if they don't work. Not bad in my book and definitely worth the extra $10 in taxes.
 
you can get the z560s for $139 shipped at 2buystore.com and people have expressed how their experiences were with 2buystore... im trying to wait patiently for either dell or gateway to have one of their $110 deals again
 
*sigh* this thread pushes me even closer to breaking down and just ordering them. I had been waiting for dell or gateway also to have another good deal, but I'll survive the 139 price.

hmm, im thinking that logitech is working on some kind of 5.1 speaker set that is priced lowered than the klipsch and the cambridge since their 4.1 set was and still is popular!

lol, thats my wish... so that when they release their 5.1's.... the 4.1 would be driven down a bit more...

or stirring up at deal at dell... i'll be surprised if gateway comes out with another $50 off of $199 coupon since that is a huge saving. I'm sure they just had that coupon so that they could get as popular as dell's accessory store.

in any event, *fingers crossed* - I'm gonna wait a week or so more 🙂
 
people people ... stop tempting me... it was bad enough to MISS the $110 deal thinking price would drop.... 139 tread was a pain... now you guys are still bringing this topic into my life.... i swear, my girl just hates AAT and FW... !!! but I guess she'll have to go... wuhahahaha
 
uhh waht do you mean too much bass? there is no such thing... if they don't make your windows shatter, your ears bleed, and your neighbors shoot at you, you don't want 'em

id consider getting some of these.. that is if i had someplace to put the surround speakers.. where is everyone putting their speakers? 2 speakers.. duh. next to speakers.. but the rear ones.. only thing behind my chair is the ground.. 😛

dakata: i don't really have a place to put mine either, so.. my desk is about 6 feet wide, i put 2 in the middle about 3 feet apart, then the other 2 out on the edges

it sounds really good to me, although i could probably get better sound out of them if i positioned them correctly
