I don't know anything about your rig, but from what I Googled, your speakers are digital not analog. Did you try setting it for digital?

So your headphones work attached to the front of your case... but do they work if plugged into your integrated sound in the back? Based on what you're saying, I would assume not.

I just tried it. It doesn't work attached to the back of the case, weird. Is the integrated sound shot then?

The speakers are probably fine then, so yeah.. something on your integrated sound.
It might be a driver issue though and not something physically wrong. Maybe unistalling/reinstalling drivers would be a good first step.
The whole slow death of all your sounds is kind of odd.
With those speakers though, it would be a justifiable solution to go ahead and get a soundcard to try to clear up the problem.

alright thanks. Yeah I was planning to get an X-Fi in a couple weeks when I get some new headphones. Is the X-Fi fatality edition a lot better for games than the X-Fi platinum though? I really like the front bay of the platinum and the prices are similar, so what do you think makes more sense to get? Thanks.
