Very happy with 2x Klipsch Promedia 2.1s = 4.2 setup. Got 'em at a steal too (NIB, old stock, ~$60 shipped / pair).

Can you elaborate on this? I have a pair of klipsch promedia 2.1's which I love but need something cheap for the home theater. is there a way to turn these into 4.1's? (4.2???)

I believe that he is using one set for the front channels and one set for the rear channels. This way he has four matching speakers and 2 subs making it effectively a 4.2 set-up.

Everyone is assuming that these are about to be replaced and that's why they've been on sale everywhere. But to be honest, the prices are now going up and so I did a search and found threads in 06 where everyone thought they were going to be replaced.

Like this http://www.klipsch.com/product...-2.aspx#specifications 😉

rizorith, is this for HT on your compouter, or HT on your TV? Without a computer's soundcard to connect to, it would be difficult to get this working well with most TV based systems unless you have a receiver with pre-outs.
