Got a set of the z340s in Roanoke, VA Target. They had other stuff but no 540s. About 3 sets of 340s left after I grabbed my box.

Oh my gosh, I just picked up my z540 in Delaware on Rt 202. I paid freakin $55.95, and I thought this was a good deal. I'm going to take my receipt to Cherry Hill NJ location tomorrow and get the difference.

Grrr, they were marked $35 at my target too. I wish I'd thought to have them scan them :( Staples had them for $30 and I ended up having them order me a pair from another store since they were oos.

Has anyone thought of buying 2 of these Z340's from Staples and 110% PM and use a $10 coupon to get 2 for about $38.

Seems funny. I've seen the Z540s for less in other AT deals in the past. Besides, wait a week and if you're lucky the speakers will be 75% off instead of just 50%, but someone usually buys them first. :)

One set left at Kearny Mesa, San Diego CA. Pretty banged-up box, and the red tag says 55.95.

Got the last one at the Oceanside store near the 78, banged up box but sounds great, 39 or so. Might not be the hottest deal, but these sound a lot better than my LCD integrated 1w speakers that barely cut it for windows bleeps.

Besides, the sub makes a nice ottoman.

Actually, they're going though the transition phase next week all week and they're getting rid of all the old sh!t and bringing in new stuff and moving everything around again. Happens every six months, doesn't necessarily mean the item is discontinued from the manufacturer, but Target will no longer be carrying the items anymore. Anyway, a TON of stuff is going to be gone soon, so keep an eye out on your clearance endcaps. Oh, and at my store the clearance items are marked down on Mondays, dunno if that's regional or not.

Edit: If you see something you like on a clearance endcap take it up to a price checker thing. I worked last night and there was a TON of stuff that was coming up $0.00 and items that were less than what the price tag said. If it comes up $0.00 then the person that rings you up is supposed to pick a price, I usually go pretty cheap depending upon how nice the person is to me when I ring them up. Either way, just because the sticker says one thing doesn't mean it'll ring up that price. You could always *cough*takeoffthestickerandthenhavethepricechecked*cough*.

I went to OM and they 115% PM'ed Target on the Z-340s. Got 3 for $21 per. Only minor drawback is OM's return policy is not as good as Target.

Z-540's are now down to $19.98 at a Target in Northern suburbs of Chicago (Arlington Heights or Prospect Heights). They have a couple of them left. Also had the Z-340's for $12.48. Lots of their marked down electronics seem to have gone through another round of price drops.

They've also got the Motorola Talkabout T5800 (5 mile range) marked down to $19.98 each.

Nice speakers. Im still waiting for my $20 rebate on the pair I got a few months ago. My after rebate after pricematch cost was about
$20 so this Target clearance is smoking.

I took one of every clearance item (that I was interested in) to the price checker thing last week. Only the card reader was 1/2 off 1/2. The rest were correctly priced as tagged. :( Maybe time to give it another shot. Thanks for the heads up.

You could use them with your TV if you either have a headphone jack or RCA jacks(1 red/ 1 white plug).

If you only have RCA then you would need some sort of RCA to 3.5mm stereo mini adaptor.
