No, I didn't order one. I was referring to how long they said it would be before they got any more in after they sold out again yesterday. If you ordered one while they were in stock I'm sure they will be shipping soon.
 
The ups guy refused to let my neighbor take the package...and I'm at work every time he comes by....looks like I need to call to make a pick up *grumbles to self while picking up phone*

how can you guys tell if there is some in stock for justdeals.com? It says under availability, shipped out in 2-3 business days but when i click on add cart it says "Note: Requested quantity not available for some items at this time." Is there a box on the product page that says how many they have when they come in stock?

When it's in stock, you can clearly tell. My friend got a screenshot of an in-stock screen.. too bad I didn't grab it in time. I'll upload the pic for you right now. I'll edit this thread in a minute.

after some initial tests, the speakers seem pretty damn good. Had to turn the base down a bit, but the highs are suprisingly clear. Good mid and, as everyone has said, strong bass. I'll get into them further when I get back from work.

Sweet, I just went to justdeals and they had 2 in stock. I ordered them and went back to see if the stock was now 1 but it's 0. Hopefully I was quick enough. 🙂 Thanks alot for the info, Rich.

That last one in stock was ALMOST mine! Dial-up connection isn't helping matters - it ran out of stock while I was checking it out. Maybe you should start using another browser instead of IE; may I kindly recommend Mozilla's Firefox? =P

Guess that depends on which you would want more. Waiting a bit and saving 30 bucks, or paying more and getting them sooner.
After going through the speakers a bit more, there is definately an improvement over my old Logitec speakers...the X-something-or-other ($50 range). The cabling is tight and does not move around causing that static/distortiony interference you sometimes get. Again, these speakers are very clear for their price. One downside I guess you could say is that you can actually make out the crappy mp3 encoding alot of people do 🙂 I've put these speakers through tests with my keyboard, which has huge range on both sides, along with various THX tests and the set didn't produce any distortion. I have only turned up the system to about 25% however, since I do hav neighors....with guns and alcohol. They're loud enough as is.

Someone earlier posted the recomendation to call the rebate processors (name+number on Amazon's rebate form) to get assurances that this rebate will work with the JustDeals purchase. JustDeals is not specifically excluded on the rebate form but note the non-matching part number: rebate restricted to PN 970101-0403, JustDeals selling the retail-boxed as PN 970101-0403-NR. That "NR" suffix might be their in-house distinction for "New Retail" or it might be for "No Rebate". As a percentage of value this is a *large* rebate & Logitech went out of it's way to exclude many well known retailers - all of which makes me a bit wary. Also, watch out that you don't buy the refurb'd version from JustDeals: *it* has a matching part number to the rebate but won't with the required UPC barcode.

Excellent deal if the rebate uncertainties can be worked out.

I ordered these speakers from Amazon today. The item description states "shipped within 24 hours," but when i checked out, the shipping date changes to Aug 18! :| Good thing the rebate is good through Oct.

I just got off the phone with the Express Group, and the guy said there shouldn't be a problem even though the product part numbers are different (as stores might add things at the end for different colors, etc). But he also said to call back when I received the speakers and give them the UPC so they could verify before I sent it in.

Awesome - I hope everything will go fine for you, too. Know what's funny (and sad)? I have insurance that the rebate will work, but I still haven't been able to order the speakers because they keep on running out of stock

For thoes of you debating on getting these speakers all I have to say is DONT think on it get them if you can! If these are the 2.1 versions of the Z560's I just got you will not be dissapointed. Dont believe me thats fine but put Z560 in your search bar and read the reviews on them. They kill everything including the Klipsch. I have owned the Promedia's 2.1 and the 5.1 and these to me sound so much better. I can litterally turn them all the way up without distortion, and this includes the bass. I tried that on my promedias and the bass was poping from over extention. And yes the bass is powerful. So powerful I may install a power inverter in my car and drive it to the next audio visual show and take home a trophy. Kinda piss some off when I open the trunk and see this sub sitting in there. I am not exaggerating. These speakers are rated at 105db which in one review I read is the same level as being at a concert. So if these are the 2.1's of the Z560's your looking at I believe 80 watss rms to the sats and 170 watts rms to the sub. It has feel it in your chest sound and will give a headach at loud volumes!

And for thoes of you that may not have the room for rear surrounds think again. I just did this to mine because I dont have the room. CLICK on me.
I used a headphone adapter cord I bought at radio shack so it stretches and screwed the rears directly to my chair. The base is bendable so you can mount it and bend it to where they are straight up. I have to mod it a bit more but that will be done tonight.

If you would rather have 4.1 amazon has the Z560's for I believe $109, if the 2.1's are the same and that cheap then no question you need to get them. Incase any of you are wondering I bought mine(Z560's) off ebay for $65 shipped. May want to take a look there as well IMO. But do not think if you should get them, just get them.

Here is a review on the speakers. They flat out say it is the best even over Klipsch!
