Logitech Z-680 or Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra?

The little woman is getting me speakers for Christmas. I told her I wanted Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultras. I've been looking around and wondered if I should be looking at Logitech Z-680's.
For the money, is there anything else I should be looking at?
The Klipsch speakers scream "quality", and that's what I'm most interested in. I haven't seen anything that I like more, but I'd love to hear some suggestions.

I would say don't get any of those and get the logitech z-5500's. They rock.... I upgraded from the original klipsch 5.1's to these, and was blown away.
 
680s are red lobster's shrimp vs. Klipsch's & Creative's jumbos. Seriously, they cost less for good reason, get the Klipsch (UBAR sub, good sats) or the Gigaworks (Great sats, good sub) - (scale = mediocre -> good -> great -> UBAR)
 
i was in the same boat until tuesday. Found them, the klipsch 5.1's on newegg for $350...then they got even cheaper at dell $297. then a heart felt soul on anandtech gave me a coupon that made the price $223...i couldnt resist... should get them mon or tue...
