logitech z-560 troubles **SOLVED by brunswickite**wait, one more question

i got a set of z-560 hooked up to a game theater XP, the two front speakers work beautifully, i lost the speaker wire for one of the rear ones so until i get some new ones obviously no sound is coming out of that one, but the sound coming from the other rear speaker is VERY faint. infact, i have to turn the volume up half way just to hear it at all. the wires are hooked up correctly and all the speakers are turned up to the same volume, any ideas about whats goin on here? thanx

check the fade knob, on the control unit, also switch the rear speaker to the front speaker, (all z560 speakers are the same so disconnect and connect in front) this will tell you if speaker is bad, make sure your sound card is set to 4.1 also, and m3d is not on
