I bought a set of these last year and haven't hooked them up yet. I'm not geeky at all, but I'm curious how you hook these up to your tv.

The speakers come with a little "Y" adapter that converts the plug that usually goes into your PC's sound card into two (left and right) "female" RCA connectors. In addition to the "Y" adapter I needed two cables with "male" RCA connectors on each end. Plug one end of each cable into either side of the female "Y" adapter and the other end into the left (for one cable) and right (for the other) audio inputs of the TV. And, for my TV, I threw a switch so that the sound would be directed to the Z340's instead of the TV's own internal speakers.

It really is much simpler than it sounds.

Picked these up in Best Buy today for a custom built computer I delivered.
Marked $49.99 on shelf...
Rang up $29.99 @ register.

crap! You're right! HOT!! I'm going to cancel my order and pick it up from Best Buy!

BE CAREFUL GUYS. $10 MIR WILL NOT WORK AT MOST RETAIL STORES.

Check rebate for details.

I cancelled my order from Gateway and picked these up at local Best Buy for $32.46 total, IIRC.
($29.99+SF tax).

I'm pressed for time, yet I felt compelled to post my thoughts about the speakers. I was simply blown away by the size, sound quality, bass, design, functionality, and headphone port.

Logitech, you've outdone yourselves once again.

This deal has been upgraded to FLAMING HOT.

You may also want to check your local Target for this speaker set on clearance. I picked up a set of Z-340s last week on clearance (factory sealed) for $12.48 at the Aventura, FL. location.

Bump.

They are all out here on the Z-340 but they have several more on clearance.

Altec Lansing Model 2100 - $55.00
Labtec 3 piece - $19.99

CSR said almost all of their computer speakers are on clearance.
