Logitech z-2300 Speakers $84.99 AR - Free Ship!

Eh? These speakers have NEVER been available for less than $100. They're THX certified and recieved a 9.0 by CNET with an editor's choice award. This is an ungodly value.

According to Maximum PC magazine, the 2300 speakers are not as good as the 2200 model. Of course, the 2200 is no longer available so .. .

Would someone be kind enough to send me a copy of the rebate, its no longer on the product page.

Thanks!

edit: Shipping is $25 to CA...

Look at the date on the original post. This thread is 4 months old, so I don't think you're going to get the rebate.

I've owned these for about a year now.

These are absolutely fantastic speakers. I'm what you might call an amateur audiophile. I have very nice PSB speakers in the living room, insist on high SQ headunits in a car, etc.

And I LOVE these things. At half-volume they're extremely loud, and sound very nice for music as well.

Looks like a great deal.

edit: Oops. Just read the previous post to mine. Eh, still great speaks. 🙂

I just purchased these from JustDeals on eBay for $92 with free shipping, if you're interested.

You purchased refurbs for $92. For $10 more shipped I'd rather get new ones with a full warranty. Good luck though although his ratings aren't the best.

Course, you'll actually get to use yours...

fyi, Dell is showing May 20th for est. ship date.

Actually there was a deal before christmas for these (although I guess I could be mistaken for 2200s, but they're just as good if not better so the point still stands) that they were around 50 dollars.

I bought two for friends that 2 weeks later I decided I never wanted to talk to again. yay.

Hmm..what is better about the 2200's over the 2300's? I'm asking because my 2200 subwoofer just started crackling and it appears I'm going to have to send the whole set back to logitech, and we know this means they will likely ship me the 2300's as a replacement.

Please tell me the difference is minor because I love this set of speakers. (Ok, don't tell me the difference is minor unless it's true)

How would these speakers compare to the Bose Companion 3's ??? Thanks!

Bose is crap, and overpriced.

Not exactly, Bose is just overpriced.

I say they're crap more as an attenion getter, but I agree with the overpriced statement. If they were 25% of their current prices, they would be a very competative set.

Though I don't know the differences (a look at the specs should tell all), I think CNET rated the 2300s higher than the 2200s (so you can probably find the differences in their review, too). The 2300's silver/black scheme may better match other tech gear, but the 2200s match my Antec "metallic bronze" case perfectly.

($50AR from Amazon a while back, too. 🙂)
