I know it's not the Nano, but I used both in a store today and preferred the Revolution over the Nano for it's size and button placement.

That's what I've read, but I haven't received mine yet so I can't confirm.

The receiver does indeed store in the back of the mouse.

I've used this and the vx nano. The nano was really too small for me and does not have a usable middle click. That was a deal breaker being that that's what I use for opening and closing tabs in firefox.

I chose free shipping and the website didnt like the phone number format that I entered. So I reentered the phone number and confirmed everything else looked the same. What I didnt realize is that they defaulted the shipping back to the Standard $5 shipping.

I contacted their customer service right away and they said that there was nothing that they could do because the free shipping wasnt selected.

RIP OFF. All of my experiences with Buy.com are always mediocre. Im going to try to stick to Amazon and Newegg whenever possible.

This is my favorite mouse ever. The receiver is RF and fits in the back of the mouse (has a little eject button). It takes a single AA battery and the battery is usually good for 3-6 months depending on usage. It's a fingertip mouse, not a palm mouse like the MX series. Originally I was a big fan of palm mice, but the fingertip mice took away my wrist pain. Be warned that the zoom slider button is crap, don't even consider it a working feature. But everything else is great:

-adjustable scrollwheel drag
-side-to-side tilt
-programmable search button below mousewheel (I use SteerMouse for Mac or LogiGamer for PC)
-Froward/backwards buttons

Definitely a great mouse

Yes it defaults to the $5 shipping, but if that's your criteria for "RIP OFF", you might as well add other vendors to that list (including Amazon) because many of them do not default to the cheapest method possible. But if you are saying "RIP OFF" due to the way customer service handled your case, I won't argue with you there. They should have told you how to cancel the order via your internet account with them.

I have purchased numerous times from Buy.com and they have been stellar. I have always received my merchandise without hassle, and they rank only 2nd to Outpost when it comes to delivery speed. Even though I typically use "free shipping", it gets to my doorstep very fast.

Thanks for the info. I am buying this thing blindly.

I have one of these and the lack of a middle click sucks. Why diidn't they put the clickclickclick/free spin mechanical switch on the bottom?

Huh? I'm looking at mine right now...the switch IS on the bottom. And the scroll wheel does let you middle click. Did I misunderstand you or are you talking about a different mouse?

Oops, thought this was the Nano

That's why I like the Revolution version better. The revolution is a tad larger so it isn't a "mini mouse", and I really like the buttons on the side to backup and jump forward while viewing webpages. I've also read about the Nano's USB insert getting stuck.

Placed the order and got an offer for discounted 2nd day shipping for $2.99 instead of $5.49. Wonder if this is something random they do?

Not sure if it is random or not, but I got the same discount offer and took advantage of it.

I'd prefer the VX Revo if it had a small receiver. Why does Logitech make you choose?!?!
