Logitech VX Revolution mouse as low as $20 CC BM

I just got this a Circuit City for $80 with $40 or MIR which is pretty damn good already for one of the best notebook mice out there. (anyone know the battery life?). I actually like it better than the desktop MX, might actually use it full time.
Best Buy had it for $60 so i took the receipt to CC and got back $20. Online only shows 1 of the rebates, so get your car gased up. Good luck!

Ive had my VX for about a month now. I use it about every other day and from what the battery status in the software is telling is that I wont need to replace the battery for another 2 and a half months.

Very happy with mine @ $30 when Buy.com had the deal. In fact I use it as my regular mouse too 🙂

I wanted to do the price match like you did too, but it seems like a lot of work. And I thought price matching does not allow mail-in-rebates? But I might be wrong since you were able to do the price matching at circuit city. =-)

buy it first so they don't look at the rebates, just bring the receipt to the front with the bestbuy ad and say look its $60 here. Took 2 minutes. Rebate receipts print out seperate so you just have to send those in, which are unaltered.

The battery indicator doesn't seem to work very well with rechargeables. With a full one, it says 9 days left. Of course, that was over a month ago.

How did you get a $40 MIR? I went to the store and picked it up after ordering it online, and now I see that the MIR is only for $20, not $40. Am I supposed to get the rebate form somewhere else?

It hows $40 rebate on the local ad, maybe it's different elsewhere. Rechargeable have different voltages so it might no read it correctly. Also they lose about 10% charge after the first 2 days. They should last long enough. Maybe eneloop rechargeable would work better. They hold 90% charge over a year.

Yeah...the $40 rebate is for buying the mouse at the stores, not for pick up purchases. I guess I'll have to go back to the store, return the mouse, but it again, then do the price match. >.<

Tried to PM it at CC, but the clerk gave me some lip about how it was cheaper after rebate from them then the instance savings from BB. Never again CC (and it's the CC on Glenwood Ave. for those of you that are in Raleigh).

You should have told him: read your store PM policies.

I may pick one up from CC on the way home today.
tempting....

I'll do that on my way home from work today. 🙂

Picked one up at night and they were less lipful about the PM. I only got a 20 MiR slip though, no 40 dollar one.

Picked one up during errands in the afternoon. They printed out the Logitech rebate and gave that to me no problem. A second rebate did not come out but was on the Circuit City site.

The silicone pads on the bottom makes it track very smoothly. Without the Logitech drivers it keeps falling alseep in 30 seconds. Does anyone else notice this?

I don't have that problem in OS X

I played around with the mouse on two macs and my pc. Acting very quirky and it does randomly stop working for several seconds on an intermittent basis. I will bring it back for an exchange. Probably a defective model. Plus, for some reason, I do not have the battery indicator light on the side. Are there different versions?

Well, it turns out my first VX was a dud. The battery light never even lit up on the first one. This new one works great!!

I think it is supposed to light up right before you turn off the mouse. At least this second one does.

The first never went on. I thought maybe they got rid of that feature.

It is actually, hitting the back button (the last silver button next to the battery indicator) to get the battery indicator to show the battery status.

hmm, I don't think hitting the back button shows me the status of the battery. Maybe I have to set it to make it do that?
